Jello Popcorn Balls

Pop 1 cup of corn and set side in a large bowl
1 cup sugar
1 cup white karo syrup
1 package of Jello small box
Bring these 3 ingredients to a boil in a sauce pan.
Pour the boiled mixture over the popped corn.
Butter your hands and shape into balls.
Wrap in individual waxed paper sandwich bag so they won't stick.

Homemade Hot Cocoa

6 Tablespoons Cocoa
6 Tablespoons sugar
4 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups water
a dash of vanilla
Put all the ingredients except the milk, in a sauce pan and bring to a boil,
turn off heat and add milk, Stir until blended.

Egg Nog

4 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
4 cups milk
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Beat eggs in a small bowl add sugar and salt.
Stir until blended, add milk and vanilla.
Stir well and pour into cups and sprinkle with nutmeg.

Turkey Mushroom Soup

1 cup diced cooked turkey
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 medium onion diced
1/4 cup chopped celery
1 cup mushrooms
1 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
2 tablespoons of flour
1 cup milk
Combined all the ingredients except the flour and the milk in a 2 quart pan.
Bring to a boil, then lower heat to a simmer and cook until the vegetables are tender.
Stir the flour into the cold milk first then add milk and flour mixture to the soup, stirring to prevent lumps. Stir and cook for a few more minutes until thickened and heated through.
This is a great soup to make with leftover Thanksgiving turkey. Perfect for 2 people

Baked Ham and Eggs

Baked Ham and Eggs
5 slices of bread (cubed)
1 1/2 cups diced ham
1/2 pound grated cheese
3 eggs
2 cups of milk
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
In a 9x13 pan place the bread cubes, the ham and cheese.
In a bowl mix the eggs, milk and dry mustard.
Pour the egg mixture over the bread mixture in the pan.
Now add 2 more sliced of bread (cubed) and drizzle all of it with 1/2 cup melted butter.
Refrigerate overnight and then bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees

Butter Frosting

1/3 cup soft butter ( 5 1/2 T)
3 cups powdered sugar
1/8 - 1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
mix all and use on anything

Swedish Pancakes

Swedish Pancakes
In a blender, mix
4 eggs
6 Tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup melted butter
1 1/4 cups milk
dash of salt
Blend well and cook on griddle in butter.
